Concepcion Industrial Corporation (CIC) joined SharkNinja’s Distributor Summit 2026 in Singapore last August 25 to 27, bringing together distributor markets from the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, and Hong Kong for three days of strategic discussions, best practice sharing, capability building, and recognition.
Representing CIC at the summit were Raul Joseph Concepcion, Chairman & President of CIC; Steven Santos, General Manager of Cortex Technologies; Miguel Concepcion, Business Unit Head of SharkNinja; and Kara Clarise Magno, Marketing Manager of SharkNinja.
Setting the Tone for 2027
The summit opened at the historic House of Tan Yeok Nee with remarks from Udai Kunzru, President of SharkNinja APAC, who shared the Outrageously Extraordinary mindset practiced across SharkNinja globally.
The APAC team also previewed exciting 2027 innovations across categories, from coffee makers, air fryers, and frozen treat makers to portable fans and vacuum cleaners, highlighting the opportunities ahead for the region.
Sharing What Works
On Day 2, distributor markets shared their best practices and strategies for growth. SharkNinja Philippines showcased its strengths in marketing localization, corporate and community activations, retail excellence, live selling, affiliate marketing, and KOL management, demonstrating how global brand principles are translated into locally relevant initiatives.
Markets also presented their 2027 plans and targets to the APAC team before the day concluded with a dinner and awards night.
CIC was recognized with the “Be an Explorer, Not a Tour Guide” award, one of the key pillars of SharkNinja’s Outrageously Extraordinary mindset. The award recognizes the team’s willingness to push boundaries and explore new approaches across marketing and cross-functional initiatives.
Building Capabilities for the Future
The final day at SharkNinja APAC headquarters focused on capability building, with key leaders sharing market best practices, including examples from Singapore. Distributor teams were also equipped with practical approaches to organizational structure, performance tracking, and reviews to support long-term success.
The summit reinforced the strength of SharkNinja’s APAC distributor network and gave CIC new perspectives and capabilities to bring forward as the team prepares for another year of growth in 2027.
