Every blood donation starts with one person choosing to help. At CIC, that choice has become a shared commitment embraced by employees across the organization.

That shared commitment to giving back has earned Concepcion Industrial Corporation the Platinum Award from the Philippine Red Cross during its recognition program held on July 17, 2026, at Valle Verde Country Club in Pasig City.

The award was accepted on behalf of CIC by Jim Teves from CBSI Environment, Health & Safety, recognizing the company’s continued support for blood donation initiatives and the many employees who have generously volunteered as blood donors over the years.

Presented by the Philippine Red Cross, the Platinum Award recognizes organizations that have made meaningful contributions to strengthening the country’s blood supply through sustained support for voluntary blood donation initiatives.

That commitment continued on July 31, 2026, when CIC once again partnered with the Philippine Red Cross for its annual Blood Donation Drive. The initiative resulted in 54 successful blood donors, each making a life-saving contribution that will help patients in need of blood transfusions. Beyond the donations collected, the activity also inspired more employees to embrace voluntary blood donation as a meaningful way to serve the community.
